Our favorite Kiwi, a bird in hand

“The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.”
J.M. Barrie, The Little White Bird

Kia Ora!

Parle vous Kiwi? Cute furry fruit.  Too bad it doesn’t fly.  Ahhhh,,,,,,but it Does have wings.

When I was ten, my parents decided to move to South Africa.  Plans went awry and they turned left and upwards, ending up in California.  I may have lost my cute Kiwi accent, but I have found my written voice.  I can help you find yours too.  Got a script or storyline you’d like an opinion on?  I’m happy to help.  My characters are keen to have a shout as well.  In the coming weeks I’ll be introducing them to you and setting the stage for:

Let’s make a Scene!

I will raise the curtain on a screen play, set the stage and name a few characters (I could name an awful lot of characters at A Word with You Press!), and, after I start the action, I’ll then let you direct where the characters go.  Dialogue will follow the best, or the worst, or all of’ ‘em–haven’t decided yet, suggestions before moving on the next scene.

In addition to writing, my other addiction is photography. (www.creativemediarts.com)  Check out my bio on  the Our Team page, and then get ready to audition for me!  Look forward to hearing from you.
