4TH ANNUAL WRITERS AND CREATIVES REUNION!!!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
It’s time for our annual reunion!
Now, some of you may feel the same way I do about reunions: I have all the important people I know from high school on Facebook, so why show up in person?
Well, I argue against those for two reasons:
1) Most important of all, it’s a chance to MEET OTHER CREATIVES SUCH AS YOURSELVES! The goal of this group is to socialize, co-habit–I MEAN–co-mingle, and, dare I say it, network! You may be a writer, but an artist you bump into here might be the one designing your book cover! You may have a great idea for a new television show and meet a producer! You may be a radio host who could bump into a Youtuber who could guest host you! And even if the people you don’t meet ultimately add to your professional lives…they MIGHT just add to your personal lives! Take it from me–someone who thought she was just going to join a coffee-themed contest but ended up finding my tribe. Door prizes, entertainment, a delicious potluck, old friendships to rekindle, and new ones to kindle (but I prefer hard copy. Ahem.)! So what are you waiting for? And
2) This isn’t a high school reunion. Guaranteed to be WAY less awkward!
This year–and from FOREVER ON–we will be hosted by the award-winning author of Rain of Gold, Victor Villasenor! The reunion will take place at his family hacienda in south Oceanside, California on JUNE 17TH, 2017 (more details at the bottom)!
Don’t consider yourself much of a creative? Well…in that case…
COME ANYWAY!!!
The biggest goal is socializing…and you don’t need to have written a book to do THAT!
If you’ve had any success as a creative–published/about to publish a book, started a gallery, founded a non-profit, starting a radio show, discovered the brand of cheese the moon is made of–NOW’S THE TIME TO SAY SO! Because in addition to the wonderful entertainment and food, you will be allotted a few minutes for us to gaze into your genius so you can share with us your successes and progress with your work!
This is a pot-luck! This year, I charge you men to bring forth delicacies of sweets (desserts) and dishes that are not-quite in the front (sides). I charge you women to bring forward dishes of savory goodness (main courses) and lay forth onto the table mounds of greens and other lush plant life (salads).

4th Annual Writers and Creatives Reunion!!!
High school for two of my predecessors ended 47 years ago, over 2000 miles away & I doubt that anyone on your party list other than my BFF, Marissa, has met me in person yet. I do hope to socialise (UK) with many noteworthy & cheeky people. My guest visit to your party (which hopefully will not be a damp squib) is to give my predecessors’ memories closure with your community & to introduce myself as a writer of an upcoming novel in progress.
