“Love’s the only engine of survival” (L Cohen)

Literati!

The last train must arrive at the towers that are A Word with You Press by Tuesday, November 10th, by midnight. I have a few entries still to be posted, and there will be a few stragglers to post after the tenth, but shortly thereafter we will announce five to seven finalists: some based on subjective merit according to the staff preferences, and two completely random. We’ll have a fresh prompt, and precious few days to complete and compete.  Thanks again to Tiffany for posting the bulk of these stories, and to all of you who keep me on track!

Thank you Tiffany and the punster-joker-in-chief singing the “Stranger Song”
which should be Leonard Cohen’s entry here.
I loved the warm train ride with all of you and the staff at AWWYP.
We are bridges to each others’ hearts not strangers,
so I’m leaning out the window and smiling, what a rush of fresh air,
because there are finalists tracks past Pen Station. How does it get better?
It doesn’t, so hop on board if you haven’t yet.
