…and then this ghost appeared at midnight in the bed chamber of Ebenezer Sully and he said, “Look! These people are workin’ overtime and fightin’ the crowds in Walmart and redefinin’ RoadRage as they struggle toward Christmas and they got no time to write and submit their work to the contest before the deadline.” And then the ghost took Ebenezer Sully out to the graveyard, ( I know y’all call ’em cemeteries but grave yard just sounds more…… well….. grave! But I digress.
Anyway, when Ebenezer Sully saw the current contest deadline on his grave stone, he thought, “Hmmmm. Maybe I outta give my friends and fellow writers a break and extend the deadline.” Then the ghost said, “Cool. I was just about to call Granny and that dang Rooster to come help me convince you to do just that.”
So, friends, neighbors and fellow and fellowesses, Ebenezer Sully has officially extended the deadline to December 31st for this contest. So dust off those manuscripts or womanscripts (if you write that way), and you know who you are, and get ’em sent in so we can post them before the new deadline. I don’t know what the prize is for this contest but I’m sure it’s a doozie! They always are.
Peace on Earth – Good Will toward All Man/Woman Kind and we here at AWwYP wish each and every one of you a very happy season of joy and celebration – (me trying to be politically correct on the Christmas thing.)
Peace and Love to all of you and prayers/good thoughts/fairy dust for a Great and Wonderful 2013.
