Publishing rights: By submitting your work, you are giving AWwYP the right to publish your work on this site and one-time rights in hard copy, after which all rights revert back to the author. We reserve the right not to publish anything that is sent to us.
Cost to enter: varies from contest to contest. Refer to the current contest on the navigation menu.

This page contains general rules for contributing authors and editors for both blog posts, contest entries, and printed material. The list of rules-of-thumb will be added to as standards are established.
AWwYP will use American spelling conventions for most published materials. Blog posts will use spellings determined by the author of the blog post.
Ellipses: An ellipsis will consist of three periods with spaces between them. No spaces will be used before and after the ellipsis.
Serial commas: Serial commas will be used consistently.
